I have been in the ACME People Search business for a year (March 2009). I've seen some remarkable changes. I can recall eary last summer having a problem and submitting a support ticket. I never received a response. Two weeks later, I learned why. I wasn't following procedures. Actually, I felt a little embarrased at myself. If I had only read "the procedures" I would have clearly known what do do.
But, I had really become accustomed to no real customer service with any of the other programs I had joined, so I guess my expectations were that this was just like all those other programs. Quite frankly, I was very skeptical. And, now I realize that many others continue down a path of non-success and their skeptism is probably beyond saving.
And, that's a real shame! There is money to made in Internet marketing. This is a fantastic business, if approached correctly. The market is huge. It's International, and in continous growth. Everyone has different goals on how much money they would like to make. The one thing that I realized last summer is that I had to stop jumping from program to program, which only put money in other's pockets.
One of the first things I learned from Tissa Godavitarne is this: "You do not make money by joining programs. You make money on the Internet by learning how to advertise, market and promote programs."
